This highly skilled embroidery technique uses gold wires and jewels for embellishments. Today, only a few skilled artisans can create these pieces, making each unique. Since 1988, St. Nicolas has partnered with a small Christian charity in Thailand that assists disadvantaged rural women in finding employment within their community.
