Chartwell was the principle home of Sir Winston Churchill from 1924 until his death in 1965, when his wife gave the property to the National Trust. The Victorian house has magnificent views across the Weald of Kent and contains an extensive collection of Churchill's paintings, photographs, and memorabilia.
