The study lap on the top of the desk is the teapot lid, while other features decorate the teapot, including a telephone, calendar, Wellington boots, a microscope, and a paper tray. Only 6,000 teapots were made of the James Herriot desk design. Decorative and functional, it can hold approximately 46 ounces. Each teapot is hand-crafted and painted by Ceramic Inspirations artisan workers in their Leyburn, North Yorkshire, UK factory. Hand wash recommended.
