        Penhaligon's founder, William Penhaligon, arrived in London in the 1860’s to seek his fortune and so began what would become an illustrious career. Wildly creative and ambitious, William was inspired by the Scent of neighbouring Turkish Baths on Jermyn Street, creative his first fragrance, Hammam Bouquet, in 1874. Today, Penhaligon is synonymous with well-balanced perfumes that blend beautifully on a variety of skin types.
