Wild Goose St Patrick Statue

($41.00 Incl. tax)
6.5" x 2.5"
16.5cm (6.5") x 6.3cm (2.5") #6 St. Patrick Statue Born in Roman Britain AD 387, St. Patrick was captured by pirates and sold into slavery in Ireland. After six years he escaped and traveled to a monastery in France, returning to Ireland as a bishop with monks to bring the faith to these shores. This depiction is based on a 12th century cross at Kilfenora, Co. Clare. This is an original, hand-cast bronze resin piece with a ceramic core. It can be placed outdoors or indoors. If left to age naturally, each piece will acquire a green patina over time, which can be left on the surface or polished away occasionally with a soft cloth and beeswax, retaining a golden shine. Made in Ireland by The Wild Goose Studio, Kinsale, Co. Cork
