This tea does develop flavor reminiscent of Jasmine teas, although it is lighter than our other Black Jasmine. It is made high ( above 2,000 feet) in the northern mountains Hunan. It is also a wild or forest tea garden. So the tea plants are not a straight row of monoculture tea plants. The big tea leaves create a lovely sweet and floral tea, that is very mellow.
