Rye Pottery

Handpainted and made in Sussex since 1793, countless pieces of Rye Pottery are held in galleries and design collections around the world. Each piece goes through a minimum of 10 hand processes before reaching the finished state. Their designs feature a time-consuming 17th Century decorating technique, known variously as Faience, Majolica or Delft.

This unusual production process, combined with their beautiful colour palette and strong sculptural shapes create a look that is quintessentially Rye Pottery.
